Eric Fahn received his Bachelor of Music degree with Honours from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of Education degree (Artist-in-Community Education Program) from Queen's University and a Diploma in Arts Management from Humber College. He studied the violin with Alec Catherwood and the viola with Rivka Golani. Eric has been the principal violist of the Oakville Chamber Orchestra since 2000 and a member of the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra since 1988. In addition, Eric was the music director/conductor of The Jubilee Singers of the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board during World Youth Day 2002 in Toronto. During the past twenty years, Eric has also been the interim conductor of the Halton Youth String Orchestra and performed with the Kingston Symphony Orchestra, the Scarborough Philharmonic Orchestra, the Etobicoke Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. He also freelances and teaches in the GTA area, and is currently a church pianist/organist with St. Ann's/St. Joseph's Parishes in Toronto. |
